  • Step 1: Right-click the ‘Blue Cloud’ icon
  • Step 2: Select Settings

  • Step 4: Click OK to implement all changes.

If a file or folder on your desktop has been synchronized to the cloud, it will now have a green tick next to it. The sync is in progress, you will see blue arrows instead of the green tick mark.

  What to do if AutoSave still isn’t on

There are several reasons why AutoSave might still be disabled. Here’s a rundown of the most common reasons:

  1. Your Microsoft 365 membership is not active.
  2. Your document is in an outdated format, such as.xls,.ppt, or.doc.
  3. OneDrive Sync is disabled.
  4. Your document is contained within another Office document.
  5. The slide show mode has been set in your presentation.
