Does your Microsoft Team loops when you try to sign in to Microsoft Teams using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer, and you can’t sign in? If your company employs Trusted Sites but doesn’t enable the URLs for Microsoft Teams, you’ll run into this problem. As a result, the Teams web-based application cannot sign in. You can resolve this issue by changing your browser’s settings. Using administrator permissions or a Group Policy Object (GPO).

1. Microsoft Edge  

  • Step 1: In the Edge Settings window, Select Cookies and site permissions, then Select Manage and Delete Cookies and Site Data under Cookies and Data Stored.

  • Step 2: Turn on Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended) and make sure Block third-party cookies are turned off.

You can also follow this step, if you need to keep the third-party cookies blocked.

  • Step 3: In the same window, under Allow. Select Add to add the following sites:

 

  1. [*.]microsoft.com

  2. [*.]microsoftonline.com

  3. [*.]teams.skype.com

  4. [*.]teams.microsoft.com

  5. [*.]sfbassets.com

  6. [*.]skypeforbusiness.com

2. Internet Explorer  

  • Step 1: In the Windows Control Panel, open Internet Options.

  • Step 2: In the Internet Options Window, Select Privacy and Advanced.

  • Step 3: Select Accept for First-party Cookies, and then Select the Always allow session cookie check box.

      Alternatively, follow these steps if you need to keep third-party cookies blocked.

  • Step 4: In the Internet Options Window, Select Security > Trusted Sites > Sites. Add the following sites:
  1. https://*.microsoft.com

  2. https://*.microsofonlinet.com

  3. https://*.teams.skype.com

  4. https://*.teams.microsoft.com

  5. https://*.sfbassets.com

  6. https://*.skypeforbusiness.com
